The University of California San Diego Noyce Program enhances secondary mathematics and science teaching in San Diego County public K-12 schools and beyond. The program includes a STEM teacher candidate scholarship as well as a Master Teaching Fellowship program. The scholarship provides 1-2 years of financial support for aspiring secondary STEM teachers enrolled in the teacher education program at UCSD. The Master Teaching Fellowship provides support and learning opportunities for classroom teachers seeking to have an impact on public education.
The overall program is focused on the education of students in high-needs school districts within a collaborative community.
